Several communication professionals voiced their personal views and perspectives on brands during the first season of the Beach Talks podcast, a.k.a. “Conversas de Praia”, promoted by WYgroup and ECO.
In a set of 6 episodes, current transversal themes were addressed – technology, innovation, communication, media, entertainment – with the personal insights of those who already have a rich and accumulated experience to share funny stories, successes, failures, visions of the future or intuitions about what’s coming. From July 6th, and during July and August, every Tuesday, at 11 am, the Beach Talks will be broadcast on ECO’s Facebook.

The first episode features Ana Gaspar, Ambassador of Volkswagen Digital Solutions, Diogo Barbot, Strategy Director at Barbot, João Pedro Reis, Head of Marketing at Sogrape, and Luísa Manso, Head of Business Development at By. “Aren’t you too young for this?” is the episode about how the youth of leaders can rejuvenate brands.
The second Beach Talk addressed the topic “Programmatic TV, digital media and social networks: Are these the media of the future?”. In addition to Ana Fernandes, Executive Director of Performance Sales, was also the presence of Cristina Amaro, CEO & CLO Empower Brands House, João Epifâneo, Chief Sales Officer B2C Altice Portugal, and Tiago Lopes, Social Media Manager at ECO.
Bárbara Tinoco, singer and songwriter, Miguel Guerra, Director of Sponsorships and Events at MEO, and Tiago Tarracha, Managing Partner at NERVO, talked about “Entertainment in communication”, on the third Beach Talk.
The fourth episode addresses “What do future generations want that current generations don’t want to hear. How to communicate without compromising?”. On this podcast, Jorge Borges, Marketing Director at ISEG, Nuno Pinto de Magalhães, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations at Sociedade Central de Cervejas, Rodolfo Oliveira, Managing Partner at Bloomcast Consulting, and Vanda Jorge, Director of Ecoolhunter, gave voice to their opinions.
Daniel Riscado, Head of Center for Transformation at Fidelidade, Diogo Cunha, CTO of Bliss, Flávio Nunes, Technology Journalist at ECO and Jorge Simões, Head of the Digital Factory at EDP, talk about “Innovation: how to cultivate and implement it?”
Closing the first season of our Beach Talks, Filipa Montalvão, partner at White, talks with Rita Baptista, Executive Director of Human Resources, Communication and Sustainability at OGMA, and Sandra Brito Pereira, Director of Human Resources at Banco Montepio on “Employer Branding, trend or future of employment?”.
