NERVO partnered with MEO Empresas to create and produce a leading cybersecurity event in Portugal, which will have its second edition on September 26, where Artificial Intelligence will be one of the hot topics under discussion.

Bringing together CISOs, CIOs, and CTOs from some of the largest companies in Portugal – MEO Empresas’ clients and partners – along with a wide range of national and international guests to discuss threats and prevention strategies, the 2nd edition of MEO Empresas’ Cyber Security event kicks off tomorrow at O Clube – Monsanto Secret Spot.

This edition will be hosted by Luís Castro, a journalist from RTP, joined by Cuca, the virtual assistant from MEO Empresas, equipped with Artificial Intelligence powered by GenAI and LLM (Large Language Models), who will assist in introducing the various guests.

Miguel Pires, Creative Partner at NERVO, explained: “In an event where the main discussion points will be the various applications of Artificial Intelligence and the challenges/opportunities they bring to businesses, it made sense for us to bring in an AI as a co-host, giving us the opportunity to also explore it from a creative and communication perspective. Thus, all of Cuca’s dialogue and voice that will be heard at this event were also created using AI.”

The unlikely duo of presenters will lead a morning filled with talks from three speakers and a panel discussion. Keren Elazari, also known as The Friendly Hacker, founder of BSidesTLV and Leading Cyber Ladies, will be one of the most anticipated names of the day.

“It is always an added responsibility to produce an event where technology and cybersecurity are in the spotlight, especially when some of the actions we bring to the table have an experimental nature, involving the use of AI. But these challenges are what make what we do interesting and push us out of our comfort zone to continue surprising those who trust NERVO to make things happen,” adds Tiago Tarracha, Managing Partner of NERVO.
