It is urgent to attract and retain talents that help us to innovate and deliver value to customers, and empower them with knowledge and skills, through training, allowing brands to keep up with market demands, in a constant search for innovation and competitiveness.

We are experiencing the advent of digitalization, in all areas, and it is essential to know the digital and technological tools to be successful in any of the operating sectors.

It is estimated that 50% of the jobs that currently exist will disappear by 2025. The way we look at work will change and many new professions will emerge.

Humans will always be needed even in a digital world: some things will never be replaceable, like the ability to analyze data and extract “insights”. A robot can write news, but it takes someone to verify the sources and add critical sense, for example.

There is no doubt that the digital area, and digital communication and marketing, are and will continue to be one of the main areas of focus within communication, marketing, and advertising. Regardless of the seniority of the function, a professional in these areas must know digital.

Associated with the growing importance of the digital area, we have seen a growing demand for professionals for some specific functions: Performance/ Digital Campaigns Manager is one of them, UX Designers, Data Scientists are also areas where demand is growing. As for the future, depending on the remoteness that we are referring to, professions will emerge that have not even been invented yet, but without a doubt, the focus on digital and technology will continue.

It is urgent to attract and retain talents that help us to innovate and deliver value to customers, and empower them with knowledge and skills, through training, allowing brands to keep up with market demands, in a constant search for innovation and competitiveness.

Employees are the main influencers of the brand, as well as those who develop its products and services, need continuous training to continue to add value.

I believe that training will increasingly assume relevance in organizations, for all the value it adds, allowing a competitive advantage in the market: with resources prepared to take on change and the need for digitization of companies.

Forming an organization’s resources allows for an alignment between culture, strategy, business, and the competencies of people and teams.

At Lisbon Digital School, we will continue to invest in innovation and excellence in the training experience for individuals and companies in the field of Digital Marketing, combating digital illiteracy in the country, and training future marketers and professionals in the field.

It has been our role with our clients and students to, together, design a robust digital footprint, which allows them to be differentiators in the market where they operate, and it is for us a source of great pride to follow the successes of our clients and watch their professional growth of our students, with our contribution.
