Bloomcast produced the “Por ti” podcast for Zurich Portugal, focused on the mental well-being of young people, thus expanding the visibility and impact of the program. Hosted by radio presenter Joana Cruz, the podcast—available on major streaming platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube—consists of six episodes that address crucial mental health topics from the perspectives of young people, teachers, psychologists, and experts.

The primary function of the “Por ti” podcast is to remind everyone of the vital role we all must play in promoting mental well-being, providing concrete examples of actions. The project also illustrates the role of new communication formats in reaching audiences and providing a richer informational experience. “It’s a project that fills us with pride, due to the strong partnership created with Zurich in its realization, which was essential for the success we were able to achieve together,” says Rodolfo Oliveira, Managing Partner of Bloomcast.

Providing an authentic and diverse environment, each episode of the podcast was recorded in different spaces at the headquarters of Zurich Portugal in Lisbon. In addition to major streaming platforms, it is also available with video on the Zurich Portugal website.

According to the insurance company, the positive experience of the “Por ti – Programa de Promoção de Bem-estar Mental nas Escolas” was instrumental in the creation of the podcast of the same name. Between September 2022 and March 2024, the program positively impacted over 40,000 young people, more than 3,500 teachers and assistants, and over 1,200 families from over 60 municipalities. Launched in 2022 and funded by the Z Zurich Foundation, managed by Zurich Portugal, and implemented by EPIS – Empresários Pela Inclusão Social in partnership with the Clinical Cognitive-Behavioral Psychology Unit (UPC³) of the University of Coimbra, this initiative aims to strengthen the role of school communities in developing emotional regulation skills that contribute to mentally balanced lifestyles among young people.
