A new world with my MEO 3.0

In a world where we are becoming more and more connected, Bliss Applications and MEO have embarked on a journey aligning with the brand’s purpose: to connect people to life. MEO challenged us to join them and rethink the experience of around 1 million users. With our feet in the present and our eyes on the future, we transformed MEO’s world and created my MEO 3.0.

Goal

To continue moving into the future and providing the best customer experience, Altice Portugal decided to redesign my MEO app – the main communication channel between MEO and its customers.

In collaboration with different MEO teams, we defined the UI principles for the new app. my MEO should be close, inspiring, and transparent. With these principles in mind, the project’s main goal was to create a new MEO customer experience: more immersive, human, and personalized.

The Process

In the first five weeks, during the strategic phase, we defined the app’s objectives, aligning them with business goals and user needs. In the following six weeks, during the tactic phase, we built a roadmap for the project, prioritized the most relevant features, defined the app’s information architecture, and designed the UI concept.

The final operational phase lasted five months. We built a design system and designed the app’s experience according to the roadmap. We had a research and UX/UI phase for every feature designed

Home

On the app’s home page, clients can view all information related to their MEO services, like the state of their invoices and the progress of mobile data consumption. They can also access personalized features according to their location. If users are at home, the “indoor mode” is activated, and they can, for example, use the WiFi speed test. If on the street, the “outdoor mode” lets users use MEO GO to watch TV.

Services and Chatbot

Users can easily manage their MEO services, check conditions, and control features to prevent extra costs. The app also includes a chatbot and a virtual assistant designed to assist with account management and services, including running diagnostics if necessary.

Invoices and Profile

Clients can conveniently view the value of their last invoices, check the details, and compare them with previous months. They can also access and edit their account information and contracts with MEO in their profile section.
