On White’s Day Out, the team chose to do something for others. A purpose that quickly turned into a happy idea for the 40 people who participated in the agency’s annual team-building action.
White Way went to Casa do Gil, headquarters of the Fundação do Gil, which has been dedicated to promoting the well-being of children at risk and their social reintegration, for more than 20 years.
The day started with many hands equipped with sandpaper, brushes, paints, and a lot of motivation. The goal was to give a new life to garden furniture that contributes to the well-being of children in the foundation’s care. In addition to this exterior restoration, the interior of the foundation also had a surprise: an artistic installation, also with White’s creativity, which brought a lot of color inside the doors. White walls were transformed using imagery related to nature: the large illustrations, inspired by organic shapes and natural textures, will always be present in the foundation’s daily life.
“The choice of this day always comes from the team and on this White’s Day Out, we wanted to share our good energy with an institution with which we identify. Fundação do Gil, with which we have been working in recent years, was our obvious choice. At the end of the day, we left with the certainty that what we did – and how we did it – had a real impact on the daily lives of the children at the foundation and everyone who interacts with them.”, reveals Filipa Montalvão, Partner at White

Furthermore, they left their mark on one of the areas of the house that was most in need, an incredible mural designed by the team. The day ended with lunch at Casa do Jardim, where activities continued throughout the day.
