“Olhó Picolero” is the concept of Solero’s new campaign, whose title refers to the brand’s most recent novelties, which promise to spice up the Portuguese summer.
The new flavors are the Strawberry Popsicle with crunchy Dark Chocolate coating and the Pineapple Popsicle with fresh mint notes, both produced in Portugal.
Besides being delicious, these fruit-based ice creams are free of dyes, aromas, and preservatives, vegan and gluten-free.
This multimedia campaign, which features the Gipsy Kings band’s lead singer, Nicolas Reyes, will certainly stick in everyone’s mind. Based on the rhythm of the iconic song “Bamboléo”, by the Gipsy Kings, the lyrics were created especially for Solero by WYcreative.
Reyes insisted also on giving voice to the jingle, together with the trio of Portuguese comedians Francisco Vistas, Jaime Baeta, and João Maria, from the group O Último Andar, who all personify “Los Picoleros” in the advertisements, appearing suddenly at the first ray of sunlight, to promote the new ice creams.
